Problem with engineer not completing job

Firstly the guy is not an engineer in any shape or form. He is not even a technician as what he did requires no skill at all.

Secondly report him both to Trading Standards and report him here:
http://www.fastiis.org/our_services/enforcement/reportingPiracy/ one or both of them will take action against him.

I think I am in agreement with this. At the moment I do not think there is any illeagal activities just yet; they may be immoral, but not illeagal.

It would be interesting to see *exactly* what the advertisment stated, as it seems this is the main sticking point really, as £25 does seem completely unrealisticfor a legal copy.

I personally would get in touch again and see exactly what the extra £25 will 'get' you; if its a proper Certificate of Authenticity and it passes the WGA, then perhaps fair enough, you have a cheap 'legal' copy.

If he comes and just enters a product key, refuse to pay untill he provides you with a full copy, and report him through the links above.

Alternatively, if he's really cunning, the extra £25 might just be for him to walk you through the process of buying a, which again, whilst immoral, is not going to be illegal.
