The Arkaig Guest house is a really nice B&B. It is quite close to the city centre and has AA stars. A friend of my sisters owns it and it is really clean and friendly with reasonable rates.

Great Western Road area is the best bet for B&B. I live at the bottom of GWR and it's less than a mile to the very centre of all the shops but far enough away from all the late night pubs and clubs.
The new Jury's Inn would be a good idea but avoid the Station hotel near by, if by the hour rumours are to be believed lol.
But really make sure you book well in advance along with making sure you stay fri and sat nights as part of your stay. Aberdeen is more expensive sun to thu due to offshore workers filling the place up during the week. If any conferences are on avoid Aberdeen the prices sky rocket, seen B&B go for £150 per night before now

  • There are some here http://www.gotoaberdeen.co.uk/accommodation/ and if you're looking for an apartment then I can recommend the city warf ones mentioned on the above site.

Skene House have a few different ones iirc
  • Not to be recommended! Stayed recently, dated decor, very noisy and expensive.
Jury's Hotel a much better choice

If you are wanting somewhere good, try the Premier Inn next to the Exibition Centre.
    Like good food and drink?
    Try Hotel Chocolat and Baileys.
