When I first turned 50 I started using Saga - and found them pretty competitive (7 years ago)!
I just got my Home (Buildings and Contents) renewal... £649.00 (and they won't give me more than £50k contents cover).
I initally went through Confused (got surprisingly few quotes back!) but eventually got a quote from More Than for £243. I have double checked their cover etc etc and it all seems more than (!) comparable with Saga. (Interestingly, I had to ring them to discuss the quote and to resolve one or two questions and the quote I got on the phone was £26 less than on the internet!). Had to sacrifice GreasyPalm bonus but am still plenty of quids in!
So, Saga... go and stick it where the sun doesn't shine
