So if you are not living there and the bills are supposed to be for whoever is living there, why are the council sending the bill to you at, what I assume is, a different address?0

Same here! Very confusing, especially as the OP only heard from the housing officer last week about claimed arrears yet it has already gone to court? OP is your mail being forwarded from this other address (do the council think that you still live there and the tenant is forwarding your mail)?0 -

This is now happening after iv proved i won the case in that thread.
Iv got an appointment this afternoon with my MP and solicitor who will help sort it out.0 -
