I'm trying to increase my credit limit on the Egg website but for the last couple of days it keeps on telling me that there are 'temporary' technical problems with the request credit limit page. Is that their way of telling me that I'm not going to get any more money from them...?

Well as at 1845 on the 23rd May I can see the page in question correctly under FireFox so maybe you've just been a victim of the difficulties with the egg site of late
If it just a problem with accessing that particular page then you might want to try again now (or ring them up?)
If it was a problem submitting the request from the page then tread more carefully as you don't want to submit multiple requests as that won't help your causeI would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.
