Sports Memorabilia Valuation?

Hi,

I have a few pieces of valuable sports memorabilia. I need to get it offically valued for insurance purposes. Does anyone know any companies that specialise in this?

The obvious place to go would be to contact any collectors clubs, they normally have experts that can provide valuations. Alternatively if there are any dealers in the items they can often provide a valuation.

Some sports memorabilia can be worth getting valued every three years as their prices can increase well above inflation (Your Insurers will only increase the sum insured each year by normal inflation).

If the items are very valuable it can sometimes be cheaper and offer wider cover to insure them under a seperate collectors policy.

(If its Man U then surely the collectors clubs would all be in London....lol)
