PPI refund

Hello to you all, :hello:
Not sure if this question has been asked before but has trawled through and cant find it so here goes,
I have a PPI with my loan company and have the option to cancel the policy with a rebate of 45% of what I've already paid (I have had the loan for 18 months). Here's my dilemma
The PPI was utterly mis sold to me as I was told that I had to have the PPI or I wouldn't get the credit. (My word against theirs although I haven't mentioned to them that it was mis sold) So do I take the easy option of cancelling it or do I fight for a full refund?? Has anyone else been in this situation and could advise me further??
Many thanks

Hello and welcome.;)
Personally in my opinion, go for the mis selling, and I'm sure you can still cancel if you want to, check those terms and conds as well if you have these.
For more on mis selling with useful info/templates and a checklist of mis selling reasons and so on - on the link below, do not worry about writing down the amounts, and post by recorded delivery.
