Has the postal strike affected your eBay sales?

Hi folks

I was just wondering if you thought the postal strike has affected closing prices for your eBay sales?

I was wondering if it might be worth waiting until after the strikes are over to sell things. Even better, if you know a site that collates data on sale prices for different items, that would be fab too.

Thanks very much

There seems to be a lot of talk on the Power Seller's boards on Ebay that sales were at an all time low for this time of the year. The theory being that if a customer wanted something this week then the seller generally couldn't guarantee that via Royal Mail.
We use Royal Mail for less than 10% of our business so it hasn't affected us.

Thanks for your help. Was wondering whether now was a good time to grab bargains as prices might be lower, or whether, if you have something that you don't need to sell urgently, you should hold off for a couple of weeks.

My sales have increased over the past 2 months. So not sure whats going on there. There has been delays in the mail for some people for weeks due to the local action in some areas. You will never know what will be going on personally for my buying i'm buying as normal. Myselling i'm just informing of possible delays
