  • im stupid? me and you both mate! do you people not know about the reccession banks giving mortgages out to anyone.. theres not enough financial regulation on the banks.. the problem is not individuals.. yes some people need to learn to better manage their money however as a business the banks have a duty to stick to the rules and regulations set out in the credit consumer act. You people are on here rather then helping people in debt or giving advice your slagging people like me off even tho everything i have done is fair. what about people who where lent thousands of pounds and they where claiming jobseekers and they ended up loosing their home everything... you going to blame them too? some people borrow money because they NEED IT they cant manage without it...regulation is in place for the banks to only lend to people who stand a chance of being able to pay it back..

Cannot see your point. Are you saying that someone who NEEDS the money but cannot pay it back should, or should not be lent it?
  • you should only ever be lent money by any bank if you stand a good chance of being able to pay it back... if you need money but wont be able to pay it back to a bank then you should get the money elsewhere! it had always been the banks responsability someone would go to the bank try and get a loan if they didnt stand good chance of being able to pay it back the bank would refuse them. Now due to the big bonuses the bank give the credit out to anyone regardless if they can pay it back or not that is irresponsible lending!

Maybe anyone that applies for a loan that they cannot pay back, should face charges also. Either that or have "I am stupid, do not lend me money" printed on thier forehead. I like to think that most people are actually grown up enough to make decisions for themselves. It does appear I may be wrong though and that it is always somebody elses fault.
  • Alot of the time when people are in deep financial problems they lose sight of whats the best thing to do long term they just want to put food on the table and a roof over their heads so despite what you say that does not make them stupid. There are many people in debt on this forum they have taken out loans credit cards etc even tho it possible wasnt the best thing to do longterm but they have done what they thought was best... if someone has taken out a loan, they can afford to make the payments and it is fair they should make the payments. but if the banks have made mistakes or debt is unenforcable i dont think people should have to pay it..
  • Just how do we end up in a World where Debt Hero's Vote counts for as much as ours???

Why is it when people struggle to support themselves they automatically ask for loans??

Why do these desperate people beg to borrow, at HUGE interest rates just to get some cash to tide them over?

Why is it when these people have borrowed until nobody else will lend, do they FINALLY ask for HELP instead of money??

Why can't people ask for HELP when things start going wrong??

Why do these people GENUINELY feel it is NOT their fault they owe thousands??

You people (Debt Hero) should have the right to vote revoked.

No doubt you even drive a car on our roads too!!
Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling

No this makes them highly intelligent and they should be running the country. Damn it - they are.
