Are you using a removal firm? If so call them and ask - they often provide boxes. Sometimes FOC, but the larger national firms are likely to charge for them.
If you're prepared to pay, the storage places sell them too ... and bubble wrap, but at a price.
Tried ebay?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -

Try these people, I use them to supply packing materials and boxes for my business.0 -
You should be able to get as many as you need for free with a bit of hunting.
Try high volume shops - my mum works in a low cost shoe shop and they always have loads of large boxes that all the shoes get delivered in. They will normally give them away quite happily if you ask nicely - might be worth hunting through the Yellow Pages to see if there any similar types of shops in your area.

If you ask in your local Tescos etc, they should put some aside for you. Either that, or try your local Social Club etc - they normally have to pay to get rid of crisp boxes etc, and may sort you out.
Oh, and your local garage (car dealer/servicer) too - they can provide good solid boxes if you ask nicely. A friend of mine in the trade provided me with some for my recent house move (they were used for brand new engine components so were clean and solid). In fact, they were more solid than the professional movers boxes!
Just remember to get a bundle of bubble wrap and enough tape!! I used more than four rolls of tape for instance...
Best of luck.0 -
