  • They had tins of hot dogs in Heron Foods, they were the good german hot dogs that are usually very large in a glass jar, but the tinned version were obviousley smaller and better size for the kids.

    Try Aldi.

Currently they are doing 8 German Bockwurst 'skinless pork sausages in brine' for 99p (in a jar, 1030 grammes, 720 grammes drained weight).

They are big, about 8 inches long , and could easily be cut in two for kids.

Mechanically recovered meat, what kind of !!!!!! is that to feed your kids? and the cheaper you buy em the more butts and eyelashes in em :rotfl:

    Wow, that's very helpfull

The Halloween Party I am helping organise is for over 100 Kids and all the proceeds to charity.

There will be other food at the party, if people don't want to eat them, then they don't have too ....and I assume they don't eat tinned Hot Dogs everyday

The Hot Dogs I am buying tomorrow are actually Mechanically Recovered Meat Free (Ye Olde Oak Premium hotdogs - MRM free)

If you see what goes in them, very few contain meat (it is what they do contain that puts me off).
  • My Asda also had the Ye Olde Oak Premium hotdogs at 2 for £1. These are usually 98p and have no mechanically removed meat in them, so better than the usual ones.

    It's only a game
