They want to ring me re ppi

I sent a letter in Aug to Direct line and shortly after the RBS wrote back to me saying they will investigae the complaint.
They have written on two seperate occassions and said they are still looking into my case.
Ive opened a letter now and it says thay want to ring me to hear my recolections of what happened when i took out the policy.

I took out the policy with Direct Line in May 05 what on earth can I remember from so long ago?
is this normal they want to ring?

Hi there

If you want to write back and tell them you have already given your reasons in your original letter and you still expect to hear from them by 8 weeks of your letter they already received.
It is up to you, but you could tell them you prefer to keep all correspondence in writing, good luck.;)
