Conservatory problem, please help

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me when you can legally claim to have "lost faith" that a company can deliver what they say they will.

We ordered a conservatory from Amdega in January this year and have suffered the following (I'll try to keep it brief!):
- Three changed delivery dates
- Shortages on delivery (that still exist)
- Poorly constructed parts
- Completely wrong assembly drawings
- Damaged parts
- Non weatherproof paint

Since July our house has been a building site and we are potentially looking at Christmas without a kitchen (the conservatory is attached to it) with no progress on the conservatory build. The whole thing was scheduled for completion by September

We have contacted trading standards and have been following their guidelines in an effort to reclaim our money. However, Amdega have now made an offer that might be deemed reasonable by a court of law, but it is one that we don't feel they can fullfil given our experience so far with them. We are afraid that we'll end up with a fully built conservatory that fails at some point in the future and we are then stuck with it, whereas at the moment we feel we'd rather go with a different company.

Are we within our rights to pursue a full refund with associated costs despite this very late, but otherwise apparently reasonable offer. Or are we likely to face a long drawn out court process.

Thanks

Ade.
