car loan insurance cover

Hi all,

I bought a car from DC Cook and got a loan through them.
I was sold additional insurance which meant I would get the difference between what I paid for the car and what my car insurance company would pay out, if my car was a write off, whilst paying back the loan.

Would I be able to reclaim through the PPI claim.

Hello and welcome

If you were mis sold the insurance, then yes you can reclaim.

Also check the terms and conds if you still have the policy, I assume this insurance was optional?
