Hi,
Where would u say is the best place to have border tiles if you are tiling up to the ceiling around a bath? Eye level?? or lower as we are fitting a shower with all the parts exposed not hidden? or is it personal choice??
Ta!

The shower may be in the way of the border that was why i mentioned it!0

I always used to set them out in the area of 1000mm - 1200mm from floor height, but this need to correspond with wimdows etc.
Technically a border tile is a dado and dado's were originally fitted in rooms to stop the backs of dining chairs scuffing the wallpaper.
However in a bathroom because of the fitted furniture this often looks a bit odd.
If there a lot going on on the room, bath shower, fitted furniture I'd be tempted to put something in a picture rail height, generally around 300mm to 450mm below ceiling height on a standard 2.4m ceiling.0 -
Or make life (& bathroom) simpler & don't bother.0

Put it just above or below the windowsill.0

I'd put it just below window level myself, although I have seen them at "Picture Rail" level, and they look OK too.0
