Any Tips on Eating Out (More) Cheaply at CenterParcs?

Cheers. If necessary we'll drag three mattresses into the lounge for the night (if they'll fit).
I've just looked at the list and there's no mention of an iron or board.
It only says 'fridge', not fridge-freezer' so I assume it's a fridge with a small freezer compartment.
I'm impressed it's got a spare TV in the main bedroom! And both TV's must have freeview by now.
I'm looking forward to it. :-D0 -

There is usually an iron and board in the big utility sort of cupboard (handy place to stick bikes etc overnight too) and yes small freezer space only.
It is my big gripe with centerparcs that they don't have washing machines in the lodges, lol!0 -
Some lodges at Whinfell did, we had one in seven pines but it's now a new lodge and doesn't. There are laundrettes at all parcs.
I'm not sure about their villa/lodge but we couldn't use a wii as they don't want you using the system and there wasn't a way of connecting it. Probably worth contacting customer services. I know Sherwood has a wii room. DVD player so good evening with an interactive DVD should be fun.
The last new executive at seven pines had 2 fridges with freezer compartments. Also had a wine cooler.
As for freeview, I get very frustrated with the limited freeview service - no where near all the channels.0 -
Would you recommend booking to eat out at Centerparcs? I'll be going in March for the first time (Longleat) so I haven't got a clue.I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.

Nearest big supermarket otherwise is Asda/Tesco in Carlisle approx 18 miles0 -

At Longleat I'd recommend Strada, The Pancake House and we love The Grand Cafe.
Hucks is good if you want an american style meal and has a very good play area for little ones.0 -
I've only ever pre-booked the Bella Italia in Whinfell cos it tends to get busy around 5-7pm with kiddies wanting to eat. I've also eaten in the Lakeside Inn & Hucks & haven't booked.0

You can book online before you go, or when you're there. They have online access points throughout the main areas so you can login and book, or visit the restaurant beforehand. Peak periods do get busy and I always book in advance. We're going to Longleat for Christmas and have pre-booked all our activities and restaurants.0

I don't know much about The Pancake House or Strada. Are they good value for money?
Also, are the takeaways similar price to what you'd expect at home?0
