This would be good to put on the bottom of the hamper instead of tissue paper, as it looks rather big:

Poundland have a Chef set which has a black & white checkered tea towel. I have used this to line my Top Gear hamper.

try going into your local bmw dealership in the parts department and ask them if they have any f1 stuff left as its no use to them now they may sell you it at a cheap price they have pens flags cars keyrings , you`d have to be quick as they will be sending the stock back v soon ( i know cos hubby is a parts bmw manager and he has already sent his back ) worth a try x

Just thinking about stuff I do while watching races for a few more odd-ball ideas!!!

How about a small alarm clock (so he can get up in time for long haul races), a diary with race dates & times already written in (in pencil as they have already changed since I wrote them in my diary for next year grrrr!!!), a book of 'vouchers' for you to make him a cuppa (or similar) once during every race.
Does he like a driver who doesn't race anymore? some of their books & merchandise might be cheaper than current drivers.
