They gave up on CS1 conversion due to the software being so bad it wasn't worth the cost or the aggro! With any luck (any pigs out of the window??) they may learn from the lessons of last time before doing it this time - but then they said that last time!!!

    er. no again i'm afraid!!

the same carppy computer system that cost nearly a billion which cannot convert csa1 to 2 is not being replaced. they are using the same one!! the word meltdown springs to mind. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The kids are 3 and nearly 6.
I don't begrudge the kids the money but it grieves me that we end up paying her more- when we work over 110 hrs a week between us and she works 16 and still managings 2 abroad holidays a year plus numerous trips to butlins, haven etc. We really want our own kids too and I don't see why we should maintain her lifestyle- am I being mean??

There will be changes to it otherwise it would remain CS2 - but as I have already commented, perhaps they will learn from previous mistakes and get it up and running first before rolling it out. They may not, but that doesn't make me wrong.

No I don't think they ever will! Anything to do with the Government usually ends in either a total disaster, or costs at least 5 times more than they initially thought it would.

but they're using the same computer!!

it's going to be a total disaster and they know it. why do you think they are pushing for private arrangements and letting those on benefits keep all the money as long as they "declare it"

it's as plain as the nose on your face that they cant and wont cope. it'll be more farsical than it is at present.

The problem is that there are rumours that the nrp's will have to pay for the "privilage" of going on to csa3:rolleyes:
Also how are they going to manage the people on csa1 who are getting alot more than they will get on csa3? In the pwc's case if they are worse off then I bet there will be phasing but not if the nrp os worse off...just tough for them:mad:

That is right dd, the nrps will have to pay for the service, although the government are trying to encourage private agreements. So then should my oh have the right to a private agreement or should that be requested from the ex? and to make it even more complicated, what if oh is off sick for 4wks and has not enough earnings to pay the exact amount at that time?? As i know with the csa, if you have been off sick and not earned enough to pay maintenance they put it down to arrears at the end of the tax year.

I did nt realise that the plan was to move people from cs1 to cs2. So do you think ultimately it would be the plan to move cs2 to cs 3 eventually. I suppose once the csa change their calculations on the website from net wage to gross wage then it won't make any difference.
Im starting to think we 're better off to leave it and just not rock the boat??
