Bought a faulty bed.

Hi all,
bought a bed from 'JJbeds' on 26/09/2008 which cost me £204.99 & a few months back the frame bent, i don't have kids so there's been no jumping up & down on it, & i don't throw myself into bed so the only thing i can think of is over time it's been given in until it finally decided to give up.
Phoned the shop & they said the bed's are only covered by a 3 month warranty.
Is there anything i can do as it's just sitting there in the corner of my room & when you buy a bed, you expect it to last a good few years.
Please please please can someone give me a rough idea of what to say on the phone, i've seen te consumer rights websites but stumpted as to what to say.
Thank you!

Tell the retailer that the bed is not fit for the purpose it was sold, and you wish to have either a replacement or refund, under the 1979 Sales of Goods Act (as amended)."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

/EDIT

I sent them emails which i still have & they were well within a year.
What next?0 -
Send them a "letter before action" by recorded delivery, giving them 14 days to remedy the situation or you will start court action through the small claims court (moneyclaimonline).0

There's very good advice on the Consumer Rights page of this very website: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/consumer-rights-refunds-exchan
You'll see that items have to be fit for purpose and last a reasonable length of time. For a bed I don't think anyone would consider that a bed is the sort of thing you replace every year!
What make is the bed?0 -
Thanks for the help guys.
The bed is Aroura 4ft 6" Black Faux Leather Double Sleigh Bed from JJbeds
