£5.20 on bus fares, £1.90 on drinks, £10.80 on lunch out (that was supposed to be friends' treat!) and then £3.99 at Boots for some Corsodyl. Probably spend another £7ish on stuff I need to buy for my teeth that is mail order. I'm glad I'm not going out tomorrow :D

Well I took one step forward two steps back today. Drove to a local beauty spot for a walk, they wanted £2 for a car park ticket so I drove down the road to where it was free and walked in. :p However then had to buy baccy on the way home £5.35, then hit a pheasant (wasn't safely avoidable) so that will cost me £12 for a new front number plate. DOH!

Hope you are eating the pheasant - now that IS money saving - they are so expensive to buy! I might add I am vegetarian but my dad is a real game fan and when we went on trips to the countryside (when I was a little girl) and he saw some road kill he would screech to a halt and grab the pheasant from the road!!!!

Probably part of the reason I went vegetarian!

I took my niece to mothers and toddlers (without backup ;)) and that cost £1.20. We went to the village shop to augment the rather meager lunch we'd got, cost 75p. And after I'd dropped her off I shopped for packed lunch bits and some supplies and spent £12.something - after the mighty help of some Somerfield tokens which took it down by £5.50 :D

There are many paths to tread to find true financial enlightenment, some of them are clear of obstacles, others have huge piles of doggie DooDoo in them in which one can easily tread. The journey is not made easier by the fact that the financial institutions blind fold us before we set out on our route.
