oh green fingers, how much did you actually spend today then?

i think this is another no spend day for me. it's easy to do when you've got nowhere to go. i've done a real big spring clean so i've not much to do today.

hopefully i won't get tempted by online shopping.

Went in the post office to pay my water rates & the man behind the counter asked me if I realised I was 1 month ahead, for some reason I keep thinking its June this month! So I gained £40.20 to go in my savings account towards my debts, hoorah!

I spent £4.99 on a box of 25 birthday cards all different
£2.05 on 4 other birthday cards
    £2 on 3 boxes paracetamol & a reduced pressie
£5.78 on 52 packets walkers crisps! (2 bags for £4) some milk & custard powder in Sainsburys
And £1.30 on bus fare but I walked one way :)

So a total spend of £16.12 but gained £40.20 too :)

    Hi all,

I have exactly £3.17 to last me until Thursday, I should be ok, all I need to buy between now and then are 3 stamps (can you just buy 3 or do you have to buy a book of 6?) and 2 potatoes for dinner on Wednesday night.
    Saving for an early retirement!

in the main post offices you can buy them in discrete units i.e. one stamp or two etc. :)

I spent £8 yesterday (bad... indian takeaway as had forgotten to defrost meat)... and £4.99 today on 2006/2007 Filofax insert.

Not too bad but tomorrow night there will be a movie and snacks - probably a tenner;op
