firstly wanted to say

right now onto my flying progress, well it started out really well i deep cleaned the front room, bathroom and study so TOOTS please can i have 2 stars please.

Then it all decides to go very, very, very wrong i get a phone call from the company who are suppose to be collecting my dead WM saying that i had to make sure it was all disconnected and pull out ready for the delivery guy to take when he drops off my new one. I thought i would wait till DD was in bed so i could do it in peace.

So i empty the cupboard under the sink and stare at the pipes and think omg i have never done this, but hey it cant be that hard right, OMG how wrong was i.

Well my first attempt in plumbing has certainly been interesting as i said before i have never done anything like this OH normally does this sort of thing but has gone out with the boys this evening,

Beware reading below this may require tena as it surely could of been something out of a comedy sketch oh well they do say babysteps lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Right so ive emptied the cupboard looking at the pipes i decide to do the waste pipe first as there was only a choice of 2 pipes so i pull the one out i think is the right pipe when suddenly water starts pouring out of the pipe at first i couldnt figure out why then relised it was the DW's wastepipe and i was being covered in dirty water so i try and stick the waste pipe back in spraying myself in the water i know i know why didn't i turn the dishwasher off.:rolleyes:

Then i unplug the correct pipe and feel like i should leave it to OH when he comes in, but hey im a woman i should be able to do this too right also im so stubborn i was determined to finish it lol

now comes the bit i was worrying about, im already sitting in dirty water and have a half flooded kitchen well i find the little tap thing and turn it but stupidly enough i didnt turn it enough, when i first started undoing it a bit of water was coming out but i thought oh thats just whats sitting in the pipe, then i take it off the heavens open in my kitchen water is going everywhere. Im soaked, the kitchen is soaked
and now OH decides to walk in and cant help but laugh but at this point i cant see the funny side i managed to turn it off, turned round to grab a towel and stob my toe on the washing powder box, angry i kicked it out the way not thinking it may be wet and send washing powder flying around my kitchen.:o

The worse part was it was spotless before i started so i have been cleaning my kitchen again since 10pm this evening but hey it smells lovely now lol

Lesson learned i am never going to be a plumber oh well you live and learn

SORRY for the long post thought it might make good reading and now i do see the funny side.

Feed the cat at least twice
Brush the cat
Sort and delete 20 emails (they seen to breed if left alone!)
reply to emails
Clean bathroom sink
Spray bleach on the bottoms of the shower curtains
Email R
Fill WM and put on
Ring Dawn

Extras
Put breadmaker on

Polish computer keyboard and screen and tv
Order garlic and onion sets from Suttons - put vouchers on desk
choose spring bulbs and maybe order
Hospital appt
***FINISH CARDS WITHOUT FAIL***

Level One
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself! Coffee with a friend, hair appointment... whatever
Declutter the floors!
Level Two
vacuum/mop floors
wash the bathmats/shower curtains or anything else that needs it
scrub the fixtures! polish the mirrors and taps
Level Three
Clean and sort a cupboard or shelf and recycle all those empties
dust and defrag the pc and declutter 50 unwanted emails and 5 links from your favourites.
Wipe over the desk and any chairs that are in these rooms

Extras

1. empty and wash out bins
2. wash windows
3. wipe doors and paintwork
4. wash any stinky pet beds.. or the pets themselves if you wish

I'm still here....just struggling a bit this week.

Firstly...hugs to everyone who needs one - wish I could keep up with the thread....

I think my DS has decided to become nocturnal...he's awake most of the night feeding and chatting, and sleeping for most of the day. We've started a new regime where I keep him awake for as long as possible during the day in the hope that he sleeps at night. Well, last night was a bit better....just got to keep plugging away at it....

I'm not sure how much I'm going to achieve house-wise this week, but I have the lists and do manage to tick things off while I'm pottering about...to be honest I'm absolutely shattered at the moment - but only one more day of school and then I can have lie ins for the next week :j.

Right, I'd better be off...gotta leave in just over an hour....
