cd changer not working any advice?
Hi My 6 cd changer (in mini cooper ) is not working it says 'no magazine' ... I cant eject the 'magazine' when I press the button it just makes a whirring noise but fails to eject it , like its stuck or a cd is stuck.
has anyone else had a similar thing and knows what to do? Any advice appreciated ......:o

Sounds like the carriage is mis-aligned, a common problem. A quick fix by someone who knows what they are doing but Halfords will charge £80. Try to find a small local TV / Audio shop but many do not do in car audio.0

Its normally a simple case of opening the unit and removing the stuck CD, usually forceably.
Its a pretty simple job.0
