I'm making my sis and bil a hamper - so far it contains hot water bottle each, blanket, bottle of wine, 2 wine glasses, vanilla scented candle and choc slab when i make it. Im also going to get them some love hearts (they gave these out as wedding favours so think it would be quite nice in there). Im hoping they will like it!:tongue:Mum to 2 cheeky boys

Doing hampers sounds like a good idea, hopefully will save a few pennies too seeing as I don't have a job now. Just wondering, does everyone use wicker type baskets (thats the imagine I have in my head anyway) or is there anything else that a hamper could be made up in but not look too cheap?
i was planning on using som ecardboard boxes but wrapped up nicely in wrapping paper! Please be nice to all moneysavers!

My image of a hamper has always been a wicker basket too, but you can really use what you like i suppose. I mentioned above that you could look in charity shops and car boots for cheap boxes, bet you can find some really nice ones for about 50p! If not, like pebbles said, i was thinkong of finding some cardboard boxes and wrapping in nice paper if cant find anything else.0
