  • I use it and have had no problems seems very good ,updates a few times every day I think, and I have had no viruses but there again I only go on safe sites if you know what I mean.Another bonus is that it's free with ntl.

It's really good, no problems at all. Worth joining/staying with NTL for :-)

My Norton antivirus expired, so I used this. No problems in the 8 months or so I've been using it. My Dad also uses it, with no problems. Regular updates take place as well.

We've had a couple of pc's in to repair recently which have had the NTL antivirus installed. When I took hard drives out & scanned them with Panda Platinum, they both had a fair few problems NTL had missed (if memory serves - hacking tools & dialers were the most prolific).
    Just my 2 cents worth.

I may use AVG then if ntl NetGuard are missing them.
I do have other software on my PC that will pick them up but i'd rather have good First Line Security.

AVG and Sygate Personal Firewall have kept my pc free of unpleasantness for well over a year now - never had a moments trouble out of either, they're both free and AVG is noticeably lighter on it's feet than norton (what it replaced way back when...)

the NTL stuff may be fine, it may not - i've never even considered installing it as i'm perfctly happy with the stuff i have :)
