Can anyone recommend a good Carpenter / Joiner in cardiff area?
I've got about 3 days work lined up, fitting an internal door, staircase (bannister and spindles etc) and some architrave, skirting.
The ones I've contacted say they will come but then don't turn up. I know its not a great amount of work but I'm planning new kitchen year and if they do well I'll ask them back for that which will be a big job.
So any good recommendations and ideas why no ones interested?

Can recommend - but not till tomorrow as his card is at home.
This chap is a joiner, he fitted my kitchen and I am getting him back to do the tiles and floor!
He charges about £150/day as far as I remember.

Apparently a lot of people are doing up their houses instead of moving, which could be why they have so much work.

We had trouble finding a joiner for minor jobs - hanging a couple of doors etc after ringing local (within 5 miles joiners) nobody got back to us!

Decided to ring whoever advertised in the local paper as they obviously wanted the work and got a very good quote and a fast service.

I'd reccomend checking out the above poster as he is obviously interested in the job.
