:mad:my daughter moved into house in stoke on trent, i visited her on a weekday with some items of furniture and parked a few doors down from her house, didnt stay long (cold house, not very comfortable) and found i had a parking ticket as i did not have a residence permit. i had actually parked right next to the sign, but as i wrote to the council did not look for or at any signs as i had come to visit my daughter in her home. i apologised and explained the circumstances but they have wrote back and said basically tough
if i pay within 2 wks £35 if any longer £70, feel that i ought to pay up straight away, but so cross i do want to challenge, would appreciate any advise
