Get a 19" LCD HDTV and an 8GB MP3 player for £170

I bought the 22" version for my son for christmas (£149.99 including 8gb mp3 player) it did state at the bottom of the website page that the price was only valid until 20/10/09. So it's not a case of it being a misprice or that Argos have put the price up because the deal is so popular - it was always due to end yesterday.

Yes I was wondering about this one too?

I know humax make great Freeview + boxes etc as we have one but I have no idea what their tv's are like?

its out of stock at the moment but this is definately worth a look

since i cant post a link its a bit annoying... however if you go to page 4-5 of the home clearance stuff... its on there. BUSH 19inch HD TV

its pretty much the same tv except its without the Mp3 player and its only £102.99!!

I saw these cheap Hitachis but the reviews posted for one model mentioned that they dont store channels properly and need to be retuned after switching off every time, one reviewer even stated that the replacement hed been given in store looked like it had already been used, sounds like a serious problem for Hitachi, or whoever it is that makes these TV, personally id pay a little extra and get a samsung

I did a reserve yesterday 20/10 with the intention of collecting today.
Will I still be able to get the lower price? Or does Argos charge you the price on the day of collection? :mad:

They did this to me too - I took it home but didn't even bother to open the box. The only info I found on it was that it was a discontinued model and the one review I found was rubbish. Took back to the store and swapped for the Bush - was told they probably just picked the first tv they came to off the shelf. Very pleased now with TV & MP3 player. :rotfl:

Currys Digital have a nice LG 19" LCD for £169.00. The Bush one has had really bad reviews regarding sound performance.

Hi, thanks for the warning, I am pleased to report however that I have just collected the tv and mp3 from the store and they only charged me £129.99, which was a brilliant deal... Also, I have got another reservation at a Manchester Store and if anyone can get to the store by 8pm tonight I will be happy to give them the reservation code and they can obtain the tv and mp3 for the £129.99 tonight..
