Hi

,so if anyone else is having the same problems take a look at the website I mentioned I cant thank them enough as I would of just accepted its out of warranty tough luck 0 -
my old dv9572 had this issue 3 times in a year a half
i got it replaced free for a sony vaio fw series which is far better
you may have to fight for more funds,
they offered me £670 for a new one which would buy me an inferior model
the only thing superior was 1k so thats what i have now:)
just make sure its of equal or better spec in EVERY aspect, dont be afraid to fight
what was the exact model number of your hp?Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
I have exactly the same problem with my oavillion 9655ae, lasted less than two years and HP really couldn't be less helpful.

They are truly not worth dealing with if they refuse to take responsiblity for the overheating problems on the equipment they sell.0 -
