Car Puncture Repair
Options
I found that one of my car tyres had a nail in today. I'm just wondering if its worth (or even possible) getting it repaired or whether I'll have to get a new tyre, which will probably cost me £100. The nail is in only about a cm from the theside, but there doesn't seem to be any obvious damage to the side wall. In the past I've always bought tyres from Costco, and I suspect they wont repair them, so I'll have to find a local dealer if I want a repair. Anyone advise on the best option for me?

It really does depend how close to the sidewall it is...
but normally a plug can be put in hole for about a tenner...
Any decent tyre dealer should tell you the same0 -
It's not right to repair when they are that close to the sidewall, but it's hard to part with £100 just cos of a bloody nail lol. So get it repaired and put that wheel on the back.0
