Con or not?!

Hi all, i recently received a job offer from a company who had seen my c.v on monster.co.uk. However, i am extremely sceptical as to the legality of the job if it isnt a con in the first place. The job -Transfer manager,
" is a part-time job that consists of receiving payments from customers (through bank transfers) and then making further payments to our main office or to one of our regional affiliated departments, depending on the customer's location." - you are then paid commission on amounts you transfer

I know, sounds like a con already! However, i have looked at their website https://www.arecco-ltd.com and it all seems above board, if not entirely wholesome. They are a Swiss based company and i assume deal with "repatriating" customer's money via agents in the U.K.

It would be greatly appreciated if some of you more knowledgeable members would be able to help me on this one! Many thanks

Well that wins my prize as most sophicated scam - for once one can see why someone might be taken in. Most of these things seem to be done by the barely literate. I think I'll see if I can report this to the feds.

    Edited.

I submitted a report about this to the FBI. Pity you don't get paid for reporting this sort of thing - that could be a money maker in itself.

I know very little about how domain names work - is it possible that this has highjacked a barely legitimate business? There is an arreco-ltd.net which goes to the same pages.

Thanks for the info everyone, i thought that they could just be operating on a technical loophole and whilst the business may be transferring money for questionable characters, it was actually legal! Think i'll steer clear
