BT Bills

Hi,

Anyone know if BT still charges in advance? Can you get a monthly bill rather than per quarter?

After many years (7 houses) of paying quarterly line rental in advance, I changed to monthly Whole Bill Direct Debit a few months ago.

I used THIS FORM to save time on the phone. All done and dusted in a couple of days.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

That seems to be endemic throughout UK businesses these days. Most now use 0844 numbers to rub salt into the wound as well.

Indeed, Sky seem to be the worst culprits as well, it is nigh impossible to find a cheaper alternative number that works.
