I deal realise they were so fussy. However they only search equifax. so if you apply for an MBNA card which only searches experian.. it's kind off one search!

B'card search both equifax and experian - my BC appears on my Experian report - in front of me now (thought would check before I posted).

Unless it has changed MBNA used to search both experian and equifax.
No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

no idea what my nerdnumber is - i am now officially nerd 229, no idea on my debt free date

What about virgin cc, are they good with giving high credit?
It's not an exact science of course, but IME (and from feedback here), Virgin tends to hand out more generous credit limits than some other lenders I could name ;)

That's the restriction for 0% BTs Moggles.

They may allow you more, but not at 0% (although fee-free). From their BT T&Cs...
If we do allow you to transfer an amount over £5,000, the excess will be debited to your account and charged at 6.9% interest per annum until paid in full. We will not charge a handling fee on the excess.
Useful if you've got a high income/good rating and prefer all your debt in one place?
