DIY COnservatory

We currently have a 15 year old conservatory with a flat roof. We were hoping to replace it with a new conservatory. We have dwarf walls which can remain but are planning to build the rest ourselves.
Firstly, is it easy to do?
Secondly, anyone know cheapest palces to buy the materials?
THanks!

If you already have the walls, then chances are you will have to have one made by a local company.Get them to measure it and supply all the gubbins. There is a firm in these parts that do supply only conservatories and also provide a comprehensive booklet on how to erect them.Maybe there is a similar thing where you are.0

There are umpteen of them on eBay, some great prices too. You may be lucky if your walls are a standard size. The quicker you fall behind, the longer you have to catch up...0

As Nelly says, Wickes do them for DIY, as do B&Q
We got ours from Wickes, and were really pleased with the price. For just over £3k we got a 20ft by 8ft conservatory.
Looking back though I wish we'd built one with a dwarf wall instead - it just seemed like more work at the time, and I have been said to be a little IMPATIENT. Moi??*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***
If I don't reply to you, I haven't looked back at the thread.....PM me0 -
