Hi
Don't know if anyone will have any ideas? but i'm working in london over the summer holidays for three months and trying to find the cheapest place to live. A lot of halls especially King's, Imperial, LSE are soooooooooooo expensive, i found some from London Met Uni at £83 a week, i can't find anything cheaper....i've tried looking privately as well but renting for three months only is a bit problematic and i haven't seen anything at less than £80 a week, infact found some horrid places in really dodgy areas at £98 a week.
Thanks if anyone can help!

how 'bout house sitting?
you get to lok after someone's house/pets/whatever whilst they are on holiday.
The downside you are only allowed out for a few hours but he upside is you can 'live' in some really cool houses.just in case you need to know:

How does housesitting work? How do you go about registering for this?0

Have you had a look round this site:
http://www.gumtree.com/london/london-short-term-flatshare_15_1.html
I've found gumtree sites really useful for short term stuff0 -
thanks lara - we did use gumtree to find the places we looked at but they weren't cheap or nice (for the amount they were asking for them!!)...
will still keep an eye on gumtree though for new stuff...0 -
This was on our Union jobshop:
