EDF Price Protection 2009 Coming To An End?

A year ago I put my Mum's gas and electricity accounts onto the above (at the time prices were soaring and it seemed like a good precaution). This tarrif is now coming to an end on 31/10, does anyone know if she will just be transferred onto the EDF Standard tarrif, if so presumably I can then move her again straightaway onto a better deal after that date?
She has not yet had any communication from EDF as to what happens next.

i'm in the same boat as your mum.

if i were you i would ring them up and ask to be put on the cheapest online dual fuel plan they have at the moment.

My price protection 09 ran out on 19th of October. I rang on the 23rd Oct and i had been moved onto the standard tariff. The person i spoke to said they look at the account and put you on the most appropriate for your needs.
I have changed onto their online tariff which is alot cheaper.
