"Lifetime" shell account for 55p

These people are offering "lifetime" shell accounts for $1 (about 55p):

I just signed up and got my shell straight away and looks like a fully working shell account. The drawback is, it looks like it's hosted on a home ADSL connection so possibly not very reliable, basically it looks like someone just selling accounts on their home PC.

But for 55p it's a bargain if you want to tinker around with a fully functioning shell account without paying much. There are free shells but they're usually so restricted that you can't do much.

Basically it's a way of accessing a unix/linux machine. If you don't know what it is this probably isn't of any interest.

EDIT2: Its $5 for a half decent shell allowing eggdrops, and to be honest, with only an adsl connection, not entirely useful. If they are gonna hang around, its a great deal, but no guarantees they wont close down next week. Might give it afew months. If they are still around, I'll sign up.

The only people who want one of these will already have broadband so could just put their own box online and have root shell too.

I suppose it would be OK for doing stuff you didn't want polluting your own DSL

I can't see this lasting, they will get 0wn3d as someone said, either that or someone will use their shell account to nmap the wrong person and get their DSL pulled.
