Your second sentence is rubbish so I'll ignore it.
Inactive's second sentence is fact. There is no way you can dispute it.

    Don't be silly.
  • I know people who have had cars from there and the feedback from them is positive. But then neither car developed any fault.

I have heard that the workshop staff aren't the greatest, but given most of their stock still has some manufacturers warranty on it, this maybe isn't a huge issue for many buyers.

A kerbed wheel isn't the end of the world and doesn't indicate the overall condition of the vehicle. I know a few people who look after their cars but have accidentally kerbed a wheel. Saying that, most golf drivers are a-holes (IMHO of course) so its probably not been treated well.
  • I don`t think the car is particularly cheap
and i think has has above average millage....

I`d seek out a harder bargin if it was me...

have you tried auto trader website, theres millions of cars on there
and so easy to compare too

Why worry who gets the thanks...

We have very recently purchased 2 cars from them and has been an up and down experience. I like the fact the salesman do not hassle you and leave your own devices until you are ready foe questions or a test drive. The first car I have had for around a month and was a good price compared to other dealers,On the downside I noticed when I was washing it it has been resprayed down one side my own fault for not picking this up,but it was a pretty good job just a bit of overspray on the window rubber. I had a friend check it out and there was no major damage as all the panels are original. The second car has not beeen so good after 2 weeks there was a whining noise coming from the engine and a day later the power steering became a lot stiffer, We took it back last monday and after a few tests they believed it to be a faulty alternator and after being told it will be fine for a week they booked it in for next Monday. Friday I tried to start it nithing dead as a door nail.We phoned them and fair play they sent a recovery truck to pick it up and will have it fixed(fingers crossed) by Monday plus extend the warrenty. So overall despite the problems I would recommend them, Yes they sell a lot of lease cars but IMO that is why they are cheap. Regarding haggling they have a huge sign up saying fixed prices,Although we did manage 6 months tax FOC.

We bought a six month old Zafira from them 5 years ago. Good price, no problems with the purchase. Vauxhall warranty for 2 and a half years left.
The only fault was the spare was flat, and one key was broken, (the transponder had dropped out) Hilton told us to get both from a Vauxhall dealer, and sent us a cheque to cover the bill, so good service there as well.

Would high mileage put you off if the price was right and the car had a full service history? Bear in mind I would likely have the car 4-5 years and do below average miles in that time.

Personally I would go for lower mileage,My only problem with higher mileage cars although it the engine may have been well looked after, it is things like suspension ,gearboxes etc that would be more likely to go.
