First ebay purchase today - and already have a problem!

Hi everyone,
I won an item using the BIN button today, paid immediately using paypal, then got an email from ebay telling me they had removed the listing as it breached one or more of their policies.
The transaction is still showing on my Paypal account though, so do I have to open a dispute, or will the transaction be cancelled automatically?
Sorry if this is an ebay101 question, but as the title says, it's my first ever ebay adventure, so I would appreciate any advice about what I should do.

What kind of item was it? It might give a clue as to the reason it was withdrawn, and whether it's a serious worry. My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
It was a pair of GHDs.frivolous_fay wrote: »What kind of item was it? It might give a clue as to the reason it was withdrawn, and whether it's a serious worry.
The email said ebay had removed the listing, not that the seller had withdrawn the item, I don't know if that makes any difference? If the seller had withdrawn, I would open a dispute straight away, but as ebay removed the listing, I was hoping paypal would automatically cancel the transaction?0 -

Eeeekk
Never buy GHD's on Ebay. I'm imagining the auction was pulled as they are fake (as are 99.99999% of GHD's on ebay).

OR you could buy FHI straighteners which are better and cheaper than GHDs

Hairdressers prefer them as they heat up quicker than GHDs and get up to a higher heat. Bizarrely the hotter they are the less damage they do as you only need to 'stroke' them through the hair once if you see what I mean. Oh, and they're cheaper than GHDs too
This might make for interesting reading for some of you (and no, I'm not the author!) http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/GHD-or-FHI-Hair-Straighteners-Which-are-the-Best_W0QQugidZ10000000008219554
Glad you got your problem sorted OP
