Bank Charges where do I send the letter

Hi
I am attempting to reclaim £1935 in bank charges from Nat West. I followed the advice on the Consumer Action group website and sent my request for a list of charges to the address that NW registered with the Data Protection Commisioner.
My question is simple, do I send my request for a refund to the same Head Office address or to the branch that our accs are held at?
Should I send the letter by recorded mail?
Really could do with this money back
Thanks

Your local branch will do.
Some recommend Special Delivery to ensure you have proof of sending. I don't bother at this stage, but that's just me.0 -

I sent mine by special delivery to the head office of HSBC, never did work out what the diference was between recorded & special delivery was though?

Special is guarenteed for the next working day if posted Monday - Friday. Recorded is first class which must be signed for, it can take anything up to 7 days after posting to be recieved.
