i have ordered one earlier as my ds wants one for Christmas which i was going to buy next week to put away.

Saying that i hope they do but i dont reckon they will honour it sadly. There has been a similar "glitch before with amazon which they did not honour, but its worth a punt - you gotta be in it to win it!

I wouldn't try reading very much into anything - at this point it's all automated programs - it's what happens when people at Amazon start noticing that matters.

And it's obviously an error so whether it's a promotion or a misprice won't really matter - what will matter is whether they can get out of it, which may depend on when they notice/what their attitude is to customer good-will, how many people have ordered and how much money it's going to cost them.

Most of us have been through this all before - some retailers will honour and some won't - but we normally don't find out for a while, and all the little clues people spot in the first few hours and post on here normally don't make much difference either way.

Will be great if they do though - my current xbox 360 is acting up a bit.

hehe... talk about impulse buying!! I've recently got a PS3 after the whole XBOX/PS3 debate. This shall be going on ebay i think, allthough i think my brother was after an elite so it may have done him a favour! Cheers guys, lets hope it all goes through!

Gone for it. Ideally it'll be used as collateral for getting a Super Elite in November, but if the trade in value isn't good enough I'll just keep it. Who needs a 250Gb hard drive anyway?? :rolleyes:
