Hi guys, Ordered mine and got the same email as everyone else, but mine has not been dispatched because I went for free delivery.

My Mum and Dad seem intent on fighting tooth and nail for this xbox but ive read the smallprint and dont think its going to come to anything.

very unlikly they will come through if amazon has stopped them prior to dispatch they hold the cards really, from experience on here previously, the only hope on these gliches is if a few sneek through prior to it being pulled hence why people order 1 day delivery, so heres hoping.....but it is unlikley:o

Without this dispatch email, I would not bother as Amazon have the right to refuse the order at anytime and for any reason (whether payment has been taken or not) prior to sending this email.

The contract is formed when this email which says that the goods have been dispatched has been sent (see Amazon's T&C's) if they haven't sent it, they do not have to supply. On the other hand, if they have sent the email confirming dispatch, they are obliged to supply and if they don't they are breaching the contract and therefore you could take them to court for loss of bargain.

For further very very useful information see http://www.out-law.com/page-424

In particular, and very relavent to Amazon see http://www.out-law.com/page-436

Mines due by Royal Mail and I have Prime but can't track.

Are you sure? Amazon dumped Royal Mail for delivery of packages over 500g due to delays from strikes, and I believe HDNL have taken that over. Unless the change didn't take effect immediately, that is.

Oh well, if it helps, the suspense will be over soon. Tomorrow we'll find out if some of these units actually start arriving.
