Hi all
For some reason, I'm under the impression that companies on the web have to have a contact telephone number. I may be wrong of course!
I'm trying to contact Tomy, as I want to place an order via their site and can't find a tel no.
The order takes advantage of two special offers they have, but for some reason only one is being deducted. I want 3 trains for the price of two, and also want the buy one, get one half price, on their track master accessories. Only the first offer gets deducted. I can't find a telephone number on their site, and I know the trains disappear quick on offer, so don't want to miss out. Can anyone see any telephone number, apart from the press office? (tried that one lol)

I can't find a phone number anywhere on the Tomy site, but a quick Google gave me this number 0208 722 7300 - might be worth a try0

Ah, I think I may have just found the reason why both offers don't show up. If you read their terms and conditions it states the following:
Where products are offered on multiple purchase deals or minimum spend offers, the offer is restricted to selected products and one offer per customer order.
Therefore it sounds as though you can only take advantage of one offer at a time and would have to process the items as two seperate orders.

Lip_Stick - it has been law since 1st January 2007 for companies in the UK to put full contact details (post, email, phone and fax) on their websites - this is policed by the BERR (formerly the DTI) so you might want to report Tomy to them for non-compliance.0

I can see a tel number when I go to a cached version of the page, but it's in a really odd position, so not sure if it's my explorer messing up. I would like to clarify that a company must put its contact details on an easy to find page as well, such as a "contact us", "about us", "history" or "terms and conditions" page, but they can't put them in a very hard to find place.0

Well, you was right. Finally managed to make the call today and I basically just got pointed back to the website to make my complaint.
It's stupid having to make two deliveries for what should be one order. It's not like the offers are being used in conjunction with one another. Thank god online grocery shops don't make you order special offers separately!
