Online meter readings for southern electric.

Options
I have noticed some people on the boards sort their gas and elecric online and give monthly or weekly meter readings so they can see what the usage is or look at a graph to work out if they are using more or less than the previous months.

Can this be done with Southern electric, which is who i am with, but i give readings but i can't find anywhere that would show me my monthly usage:confused:.

Thank you

I don't know about Southern Electric now (though you couldn't do that when I was last with them, but that was well over a year ago). But it isn't just British Gas that allows you to do this. Scottish Power allows you to submit readings online to generate a bill whenever you like and they also have online usage graphs.

If you want to keep track of your usage though, all you need is imeasure, though the cost section is only a rough guide of what your bill will be, as it excludes any standing charge or dual fuel discounts etc and only uses tier 2 prices. You do have to look up your unit prices and enter them yourself, but once it's set up it's fairly straightforward.
