                    Hi
We have only 7 days to cool off so quick replies are most welcome!
We are just about to have extend-a-room build us an "extension". They offer a 5 year guarantee but it's not underwritten by any body. My question is, if we pay for the work on credit card, will our credit card cover us in any way if extend-a-room go bust and we then have a problem with the extension.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

As long as the extension falls within the value limits of Section 75 you should be able to hold the CC liable.0

The limits to section 75 are the transaction must be at least £100 (if you can get an extension for less than that your a better money saver than me ) and the maximum is £30,000 so as long as its not over that you should be OK. If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why. ) and the maximum is £30,000 so as long as its not over that you should be OK.
