HFC Changed their name to beneficial finance!

Hi,

Just looking through some more loans i had previous one is with HFC bank plc which has now changed its name to beneficial finance.

I am looking to send off the template letter but im very concerned that because of the name change they will try and say that they were not responsible for the sale of the ppi policy and therefore no payout will come from it.

If anyone could shed some light on this would be great.

They are altogether I believe, and I assume you still write to HFC, I do have the address that was given to me last week here:

Central Complaints Team
HFC Bank
Camden House West
The Parade
Birmingham
B1 2XJ

Still write to these hun, as your loan was taken out with them, or arranged by them then.;)

Yes will do thanks di.I must admit im feeling as though my knowledge is increasing the more i look into this.Thanks to the help provided.

Beneficial is just a trading name of HFC so you would be OK to write to HFC. Who was your loan taken with and did it change to Benificial whilst you had the loan?

Beneficial have a complaints procedure and it looks like complaints are made against HFC as per here

I took the loan out with HFC and it did change to beneficial half way through from what i can remeber.

Just checked on the FSA register of Beneficial finance and the address is that of Winkfield, yet when we wrote to these last year by using the address fro Winkfield in Regards of Endeavour Personal Finance this was past on the HFC Bank, little did I know though until receiving some recent documents and info etc.
