Kaspersky are selling this on their site for £39:99 or £31:99 if renewing the licence from 2009. But PCWorld have it on offer for £23:99. Presumably while stocks last. Got mine today, so not losing out by renewing!

is this the same as Norton??Saying Thank You doesn't cost anything :beer:0

It's miles better than Norton. It's also available for free if you have a Barclays bank account with internet banking. The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.

Amazon also have it for £23.99. I got the 2009 version from them, I think they always supply it cheaper than Kaspersky themselves. I've been very happy with it, it runs happily in the background and doesn't hog loads of resources on the pc.0

Somebody from the Techie board told me last year that Kaspersky is one of the top brands, so I think it is probably better than Norton. I think Norton also has problems with conflicting programs sometimes0

I prefer Kaspersky over Norton.
Another heads-up, you can get Kaspersky for free if you are a Barclays online bank customer. Just click on the link (bottom right of the page) after you have logged into your account.
Their offer states its for the 2009 edition, they will send you a installation serial number after they have verified you as a customer and ask you to download Kaspersky 2009.
But I've downloaded and installed the 2010 edition on 2 computers and the installation serial they sent worked on both.

I have also heard this is a great product, but for those who don't know, the new Microsoft Security Essentials has very good independent reports and write-ups and is supposed to offer very good anti-virus protection and costs nothing - not as full a toolset as this suite from Kapersky, though. Not trying to get a techie discussion going on this board, but just pointing out there's a new freebie on the block. (I am sure it's entirely irrelevant to all on here to say this, but your PC must run genuine Windows to install the MS product.)0

If you have the 2009 version you can download the 2010 version for free, as mentioned by Knight.
I believe this is for all owners, not just Barclays customers. I did it on my version of 2009 and I do not bank with Barclays.
Therefore you should be able to buy 2009 now, and once installed upgarde for free.
An Amazon marketplace seller (business) has 2009 for £16.99 with free P&P

E&OE, etc. etc. etc

I have just updated my Kaspersky obtained through Barclays Bank on both my Desktop and Laaptop PCs from 2009 to 2010. It asked me to remove Super Anti Spyware and PCTools Firewall before it would proceed.
Thanks for the link.To Dare is To Do:beer:0
