west london car boots

Hi, anyone know of any good car boots round w.london area (ealing/eastcote/harrow etc). I know there is one in eastcote, field end road, but thats it.

Also top tips for a boot seller virgin would be gratefully received!

-do you mark things individually (ie:toys/books), or just put all books etc in a box marked £1 etc.

-can you sell electrial goods/sealed bottles of wine/brandy etc (or is that illegal?-its just that whisky/brandy not drank in our house-and i know that it and the cognac we've got are not cheap to buy!)

-how much do people usually sell dvds for? (ie:films)

Thanks. Maybe i'll have to scout around to see how others do it, but then i know if i do that, i'll end up buying something!!

is a good one for finding boot sales.

I would put the books in a box and i dont personally bother labelling things i just keep a mental note in my head what i want for everything.

    Good Luck. Carrie.

I'd definitely advise making sure that buyers can determine the price of anything you are selling, whether by individual pricing or by grouping items you are selling for the same price.

There's nothing worse than seeing some things you might like and having to do a series of "Emma Chisits" on them - particularly if the boot-minder is having a long natter with another customer.

Chiswick School, first Sunday of every month. And there is a whopping great boot sale at Houslow heath garden centre every Sunday. Turn up very early.
