  • When I had nets I used to use the extending rods and put them on special sticky hook thingies which I got from the curtain shop. They held fast and I have a 10ft bay.

If your nets are on a heading tape you can use sticky velcro. Stick this to the window and then your heading tape should stick to the velcro.

I used the sticky pads and the extending poles method inmy last house. I had wide windows and used to stick pads at intervals along the window - usually where there was a vertical window frame. To get the curtains to hang correctly, I used to cut small holes in the top of the net so that the pole would sit directly on the hook and not pull at strange angles. I also found that this way meant that you always had your nets evenly spaced (assuming you cut your holes in the right place the first time :D)

This house is easy - no nets :D:D

My DH works for a well known window company, & they supply net curtain poles which are glued on to the frame, using a special glue which fixes to UPVC.
It might be worth contacting the supplier of the windows to see what they recommend.

we had this problem with a heavy metal blind when we had new windows.OH put a piece of wood above the pvc frame and we papered and painted it to match the wall and then hung the blind from it.
