It doesn't specify new customers. The leaflet just states that it can only be used once per customer.

I have had one of these codes from a parenting mag (Think it was Mother & Baby) & it didn't come off with my discount so I phoned them & was told that you need the voucher to prove you are entitled to it - I had to send my voucher in to get my discount applied.
2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please

When i did my first ever additions transaction the other month, i was a bit worried that the discount is not illustrated on the transaction. however, you should find that on your email confirmation, the code will be listed in bold after the receipt. it will only be applied when additions dispatch your items. it will be charged and then refunded to your account. On my first occasion, i phoned customer services who assured me of this process and i have never had a problem since. i hope that helps!

It says this near the box where you enter the code.

If you have a promotion code, please key it in here. It will be applied once
your order is submitted. Any discounts will not be visible until you receive your statement.
Please note: only ONE code can be used with a single order
